Boxcar General Service Roster

Georgia Road is committed to every customer and every carload. An example of this commitment is the acquisition and modernization of its general service fleet to provide customers with useful solutions for their unique dry van shipment needs. As many Class One operations are reducing boxcar inventories in favor of private or customer leased cars, Georgia Road continues to maintain a substantial fleet of its own pool cars aimed at stabilizing the sometimes volatile nationwide supply by keeping its own captive roster. Provision of both adequate and well-maintained equipment allows Georgia Road to actively seek service, reducing wear and tear on roads and highways with the added benefit of decreasing fossil fuel emissions.
